The Tiger Lillies

The masters of gloomy punk cabaret and great friends of our country, The Tiger Lillies, are returning with two concerts in Ukraine!

On May 30th, Kyiv, Caribbean Club!

The Tiger Lillies have stood by Ukraine from the early days of the full-scale invasion. They constantly speak about it on their own social media and highlight the events happening here. To help us even more, The Tiger Lillies decided to do the best thing a musician can do – record an album. It’s titled “Ukraine.”

The Tiger Lillies will perform hits that cover their entire career. Over these 30 years, a lot of interesting and unexpected things have happened. From theatrical productions to their involvement in creating the cult musical “Shockheaded Peter,” which has won two prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards. And even an album collaboration with the Kronos Quartet, nominated for a Grammy. But the main quality of The Tiger Lillies’ manifestations in various cultural directions has remained their loyalty to their artistic path. Namely, the world they create with their songs. Dark, slightly scary on one side, and fun and captivating on the other.

The music of The Tiger Lillies is reminiscent of Berlin cabaret before World War II, ancient opera, and gypsy music all at once. This specific mix has been recognized by music lovers worldwide, and the press believes that in an ideal world, The Tiger Lillies would participate in Eurovision from the United Kingdom.
