Mikhail Kozyrev, lecture “Music and death”

Mikhail Kozyrev returns to Kiev to talk about music and death.

The second Ukrainian lecture by the musical expert, producer, tv presenter and founder of “Nashe Radio” will be performed in the Caribbean Club on 9 November.

Musicians are people with naked nerves, their inner tuning-fork is more responsive and more sensitive to the world. But, can really music end in the great artist? To create lecture “The Music and the Death” Mikhail Kozyrev

used the sad events in the world of show business – the last suicides of two talented musicians – singer of Soundgarden, Chris Cornell and Linkin Park singer, Chester Bennington.

As the last time when he visited Ukraine, Kozyrev lecture will be performed like a dialog with the audience. During the conversation, Michael will discuss the possible reasons to care not only mentioned musicians but also participants of the dark “27 Club” like Kurt Cobain, Ian Anderson, Jimmy Hendrix and Amy Winehouse.

The main questions are: How did you manage to avoid the tragedy of Mike Jagger and Keith Richards? Who is still give a fantastic show and doesn’t care that the last half century they were predicted premature departure? And he will try to find answers to this and other questions:

– Why do so often favorite artists leave their fans at the top of their fame, much earlier the time of their physical decay?

– Can the fans blame their idols for the decision to suicide?

– What are the reasons for premature leaving of truly gifted

and talented people? And what the reasons for them to suicide?

– What the hell the rock stars should pass through? Test of Fame, money, temptations – some of these tests

turns out to be the worst for the artist, breaks him and how can the superstars get through their “fire, water and brass pipes”?

– Why do many stars are drugs and booze addicted? Is this a whimsical permissiveness and the only one opportunity for socialization – a source of inspiration and personal remedy for them?
