Jazz & Classic. Project Quests (based on music by F. Chopin)

The Caribbean Club Concert-Hall will host the presentation of the album Quests by Natalia Lebedeva on the 12th of May.

The project of Ukrainian jazz musicians Quests will present the music of Frederic Chopin in the most diverse and unexpected jazz “projections”. Quests is an original and experimental sounding program in which, in addition to Chopin’s music, the poems of his contemporary, the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz, were also used.

This program is not just a jazz arrangement of Chopin’s works, but new compositions that arose from the melodic and harmonic ideas of his music. Go through a real musical quest, following the musicians and you will be able to add new forms and read new stories based on the music of F. Chopin.

The best Ukrainian jazz musicians will participate in the quest. The project leader Natalia Lebedeva has invited Laura Marti, Dennis Adu, Victor Pavelko, Igor Zakus and Sergei Yuzvik to “play” with listeners this “game.”

Natalia Lebedeva will show the program in Lviv, after the presentation of the album in Kyiv, at one of the largest jazz festivals Alfa Jazz Fest.
