After some successful sold-out summer performances in Ukraine and tours in Europe and America, on the 8-th of October Freedom-jazz wants to please the audience in Kiev with the opening of a fresh music season of their new program “Jazzy Fairies“.

Constant unique band members – ten stunningly beautiful girls who captivate with their openness, femininity, charm, sexuality and sound. You can always see them with stunning black eyeliner and red lips, stockings and feathers, and incredible translucent feminine dresses.

The programs of Freedom-jazz are a real celebration and pleasure not only for lovers of retro and jazz, but also for all music lovers who appreciate the impeccable sense of style with a vivid and catchy performance. Their concerts are always packed with humor both in music and in choreography.

The cabaret show “Jazzy Fairies” will include some outstanding performances – the fragments of the legendary musical “Cabaret”, “Sweet Charity” – and new performances, which have not been seen by the audience in Kiev yet. The highlight of the evening will be a performance of original songs by Freedom-jazz.

The fitting surroundings, gorgeous costumes, famous hairstyles of 40-50’s “Victory Rolls” in the first act, and an incredible musical experiment and transformation in the second act are waiting for the audience.

Freedom-jazz was founded in 2008 by the famous director-producer of television projects Lena Kolyadenko.

The selection of Freedom-jazz members was very strict: some of them became band members for the simple reason that they are the only ones in Ukraine who played the required musical instruments (e.g., a pipe). Others had to not only play the saxophone well, but also dance, turn handsprings and do the strings, while continuing singing.

The lead singers of the band are Anastasia Malega, “our charisma” as she is called by jazz singers, Sunni Zhurba, a passionate and impulsive girl with impetuous energy, and Sofia Pavlicenco, also known as the sexy beauty “Sofi”.

Unknown facts about the Freedom-jazz:

– Luc Besson himself was singing with Freedom-jazz, even despite his toothache. That same Luc Besson is a director of such famous films as “Léon: The Professional”, ” The Fifth Element,” “Lucy,” “The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc”, etc. It happened in the German town of Rust at an amusement park “Europa-park”.

At one festival during a cover song of Amy Winehouse, Seal danced under the stage, having forgotten that he had to go on the scene soon as well.

Eric Serra is a famous French composer and the author of the soundtrack for films by Luc Besson, which everybody is talking about up till now. He was so delighted with the Freedom-jazz show that he was literally following the jazz singers for the whole evening during the after party.

Michael Madsen is a Hollywood actor, after arriving on the “Vechirniy Kiev” show and listening the performance of the famous “Sing Sing Sing”, said: “Why are these beauties still not in Hollywood?”

Lionel Richie is an American pop singer who was fascinated by the tenfold beauty of these jazz singers that he asked to take a picture with them.

Thomas Anders on the “Vechirniy Kiev” show was so enchanted by the sound and the beauty of Svetlana-pipe that he forgot the words of his own song.

Katie Leone, a vocalist of the “Incognito” band, was making cocktails by herself and treating the jazz girls on one of her own parties.
