The Tabula Rasa, one of the most extraordinary rock groups in Ukraine, has been assigned the label of “paradoxical” for a long time.
In October 2020, the musicians went on a big tour of the cities of Ukraine in honor of the 30th anniversary of the group.
In the late 90s, they were one of the first to allow themselves full-fledged tours of Ukraine with sponsorship contracts and were rightly considered one of the most popular groups in the country. Tabula Rasa is not shy of her attachment to the Rolling Stones, A-ha, The Cure and The Police. The group has been recognized several times as the best pop and rock group in Ukraine.
Their hits “Favorite Machine”, “Sheik Shey Shey”, “Road” and “Vostok” are still being sung, and the video for the song in a non-existent language was one of the first from the “post-scoop” to the English MTV.
The live “sound” of “Tabula”, the originality and charisma of Oleg Laponogov, plus his favorite hits, make the atmosphere of the concert unforgettable. Energy is often off the charts. The group rightfully enters the “hall of fame” of Ukrainian rock, and also has many admirers among people listening to high-quality, not “plastic” music.
