Stand-up comedy is a performance whereby a comedian actor communicates to a live audience speaking directly to them through a microphone.
Stand-up comedy is a monologue with stories, jokes, acts, routine. Stand-ups may use props, music, tricks, etc.
Stand-up comedians perform quasi-autobiographical and fictionalized extensions of their offstage selves.
