Unique jazz band Smooth Operation
On September 8, a unique jazz band – Smooth Operation will perform on the scene of Caribbean Club Concert-Hall. What are the special aspects of the group? The fact is 4 out of 9-band musicians are the saxophonist!
When in 1841 the Belgian Adolphe Sax created the saxophone, could he imagine what a great influence this musical instrument would have on the future of music?
Genius Charlie Parker, the Messiah of the jazz John Coltrane, eccentric Sonny Rollins, “Mozart of the Jazz” Lester Young, Stan Getz, nicknamed The Sound. They turned the playing on the saxophone the ultimate art and real magic.
Saxophone today is not only an integral part of jazz, but also touching voice, which refers to the musician listeners. Sometimes, it whispers in your ear, sometimes, calls for action, sometimes, and thoroughly tells his story. But they always tell the story sensually and passionately.
For the September concert jazz band Smooth Operation has prepared legendary compositions program in the style of the smooth jazz, r&b and funk in bright and incendiary author’s arrangement.
