Pokaz Trio is a unique project for the Ukrainian music industry, which is a new word in modern instrumental music. 

Pokaz Trio is pianist and composer Andrei Pokaz, bassist Yevgeny Myrmyr and drummer Alexander Lebedenko. Founded in 2016 in Odessa, the band goes beyond any stylistic frames and has no analogues in content and sound in Ukraine. Their music is always a story where the listener is a co-author. Their performance is always a journey through dimensions and time. The trio successfully combines jazz, classical and ethnic music with electronic additions.

Pokaz Trio took part in  Koktebel Jazz Festival, Odessa Jazz Fest, Klaipeda Jazz Festival, visited Spain, France and Lithuania with successful tours, and in 2019 debuted at the Leopolis Jazz Festival in Lviv.

Their first album “Kintsugi” was released on the Norwegian jazz label “Losen Records” and has already received many positive reviews from jazz experts and critics around the world.

Together with the album, the group released a music shortfilm for the title track “Kintsugi” where the dancers from the famous gang “Apache Crew” took part.

While composing the album, the classical pianist, laureate of international music awards, Andrew Pokaz successfully experiments with modern jazz – it’s form, rhythm, melody and gives it a new meaning. According to the author, this album is a reflection on the interaction between nature and the outside world.
