Jimmy is a trombonist, composer, and bandleader.
He is called “the best salsa-trombonist of the world”. “Ambassador of Salsa” and “King of Trombone”, which is confirmed The Grammy and other prestigious awards.
The participation in the recording of more than 70 albums and 4 solo discs is part of his heritage. He played with almost all the stars of modern Latin like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Eddie Palmieri, Cachao, Los Van Van, Ruben Blades and many others.
Jimmy’s work became one of the factors that revived the popularity of salsa after a 15-year decline in the 90s.
His music is sincere and energetic, with a bright timbre and rhythm. It is important to dance under it because this is the goal pursued by Jimmy.
He plays salsa and falls in love with people all over the world! It can be heard on dance floors from the USA to Japan, from Venezuela to Australia.
Jimmy Bosch performed for the first time in Kyiv in 2010 in musical accompaniment from the salsa orchestra DISLOCADOS. This time he again will be flirting with the best and the most titled salsa band.
DISLOCADOS is a Ukrainian band who is playing salsa and Cuban music for almost 12 years. They traveled all over Ukraine with concerts, participated in numerous festivals and competitions. By now, this salsa band is the only Ukrainian band that received the prestigious award International Independent Music Awards (IMA).
The leader of the group is the famous virtuoso pianist and composer Ilya Yeresko. A brilliant career of the real stars Dennis Adu and Olesya Zdorovetskay, whose names are known to the world musical community, began with participation in DISLOCADOS.
Jimmy Bosch and DISLOCADOS continue to perform together in Ukraine, Poland, Morocco, France and other countries, after the first common performance 7 years ago.
