Her music is about love, sometimes vulnerable, but always sincere. It feels warm peace and intimacy. The singer with incredibly sincere voice Jackie Gage, as if reading your heart, reveals his own, sharing in his songs personal memories and experiences.

Jackie was born in San Jose, California. In her hometown, she quickly gained popularity and began to conquer the whole of California, where she began to perform in prestigious clubs and participate in music festivals. In 2014, Jackie became a finalist of Jazz Search West and one of the winners of the first prize of Leigh Weimers Emerging Artists. Gage also performed at such jazz festivals as the Fillmore Jazz Festival, San Jose Summer Fest and Berkeley Juneteenth.

Jackie was looking for veteran masters as companions, one of which was trumpeter John Worley. It was he who advised her to finish documenting her music before plunging herself into the scenes of New York. Gage listened to the mentor’s advice and graduated from Siren Songs. The project, which has such standards as “Afro-Blue” and “That Old Black Magic“, but mostly focuses on its sultry originals.

But the real fame for Jackie came yet with the move to New York, and the release of her self-produced debut self-produced album “Siren Songs” in 2016. In it, Jackie demonstrated her entire dynamic range, seductively combining R & B with slow jam, jazz and soul. The album was met with a cheer as fans of the talent of the performer, and the press.

It’s sincere, ingenious, playful and powerful. It’s really a rare work of art. ” AFROPUNK.
