Henry Rollins

Henry Rollins is an American musician, television and radio host, writer, comedian, and music label owner. In the late 80’s, at the age of 20 he became the lead singer of Black Flag – once, Rollins just jumped on stage with the band and they performed a song together. After this, the band asked him to join and he soon became one of the most iconic figures of hardcore punk. Rollins describes his years with Black Flag in the book Get In The Van.

After leaving the band, Rollins rose to fame as a spoken word artist and frontman of the Rollins Band. Starting with Human Butt(1992), Henry publishes his recordings through his own recording company 2.13.61.

In the mid-90’s Rollins adds acting to his resume by playing in Johnny Mnemonic (1995), among others. In 2006-2007, Henry hosts his own talk-show called The Henry Rollins Show. After the show being shut down, Rollins gets a recurring role in Sons of Anarchy.
