Some people criticize them for their swearing, others thank them for their honesty. Some accuse them of being cringe, while others find themselves in their songs. Critics call their genre “real-life stuff,” while listeners in the comments admit they’ve stopped listening to Russian music because of their tracks. We’re talking about the band Dno and their bangers, which will be performed live on May 28 at the Caribbean Club!
In contrast to big solo concerts, Dno — represented by Sashko Dvoretskyi and Kostia Markochan — aren’t aiming for anything over the top and have prepared a mid-sized show. But that’s not a downside at all: it just means the atmosphere promises to be cozy and heartfelt.
The guest lineup will be top-tier: not only maestro Yevhenii Dubovyk and Mr. Kistenyov, who you can already spot on the poster, but many others you may have heard on collaborations. For now, we’ll keep the names secret to add a bit of mystery.
The program “Dno is the New Top” includes your favorite meditation “ne tseyvo sam sebe,” the soundtrack for sad balcony smoking “zalyshu tut,” the serenade “a meni na nei — ni,” and plenty of other tracks from their ~110-song catalog that you’ve probably heard on TikTok and Spotify. In short, all the best — in a special live concert sound.
