Breezy Rodio Quintet (USA)

Breezy Rodio demonstrates not just the skill of playing the guitar, but the entire rich history of blues, beginning with the 1940s and ending with the modern fascinating city blues.

His blues are permeated with clean guitar lines, masterful performance and rich layered arrangements.

A talented guitarist originally from Italy Fabrizio “Brizi” Rodio boldly alternates ballads with funk, like a swing taking the listeners on the raging waves of his music. This evening in the Saribbien club will sound modern Chicago blues, impregnated with Italian roots.

A veteran of the Chicago blues, Lincy Alexander was the first to risk hiring a young guitarist as a sideman, which ultimately led Breezy to lead in his orchestra. During his ten-year collaboration with Lincy, Breezy Rodio participated in recording three of his CDs, gave hundreds of joint concerts and performed many international tours. By 2011, he already debuted with his own album “Playing My Game Too”. And in early 2015, Breezy released his third CD “So Close To It”, which received high radio rotation and positive reviews in blues magazines around the world.
