Aquarium “Doors of Grass”

20 and 21 of June let’s celebrate BG 65 birthday together at Caribbean Club!

This time Boris Grebenshikov and his incredible musicians will present his brand new set “Dveri Travi” (The doors of grass). This title is a title of his old song written in the 70s and re-arranged last year.

Boris Grebenshikov about “The doors of grass”:

“… this song is very important for me because it’s my first one I liked. It was a kind of real and not just another one song. When I was written the song I felt myself in a wonderful world, because I spent the mornings in a forest glade in Myllypelto and was reading ‘The Silmarillion’ by J. R. R. Tolkien. Everything I have seen around belonged to two worlds at the same time, because Karelian forest is an extension of Beleriand forest.”

Boris Grebenshikov was born on the 27th of November 1953 in Leningrad. In the 70s he has founded the band “Aquarium”. Till the middle of the 80s, it was an underground band, making the records at home and sometimes touring to other cities. On April 1980, after the performance at Tbilisi Rock Festival, the band was officially prohibited. 7 years after, “Aquarium” released the first official record in USSR.

In 2017 “Aquarium” celebrated 45 anniversary with an amazing show in Kyiv. For 45 years the band released dozen of albums performed thousands of concerts around the world.

In rock’n’roll Boris Borisovich authority reached a cosmic level 20 years ago.

This show is very important for Boris Grebenshikov. This event will leave the stamp in his life, the life of musicians and your life as well. The setlist for the new set is unexpectable.
