Tony Levin is a bass guitar virtuoso and a chapman stick player.
He played together with Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Dire Straits, Seal, David Bowie, Pandora’s Box, California Guitar Trio, Eddie Van Halen and many others.
Currently he is a permanent member of the King Crimson and Liquid Tension Experiment bands.
Levin, who is known for his innovative spirit played a very important role in the popularization of the chapman stick and the electric contrabass (upright bass)
He also invented funky fingers, a device that imitates the sound of drumsticks hitting the strings of a bass guitar.
In Kyiv Tony Levin will perform with the Stick Men project. It consists from Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter.
