GLOBAL MUSIC BATTLE — a brand-new tribute format from the legend of Ukrainian music broadcasting, Pavlo Shylko (DJ Pasha).
What if we could turn the history of world music into the most dazzling showcase ever?
A show where there’s no room for conflict — only shared love for true legends.
Where every country “competes” not for territory, but for the hearts of listeners.
That’s exactly what Pavlo Shylko’s new project — “Music Battle of Nations” — is about.
DJ Pasha already has a rich portfolio of successful music projects. He is the creator of the most famous Ukrainian radio program of the past 30 years — “Pasha’s Top 20.” Under its banner, numerous tribute shows have been held over the years. The best-known among them are “Battle of the Names” (with 33 episodes so far) and “Pasha’s Top 20: Legends of Music” (a concert series that has been running for over 15 years).
And now — a new format and a new level.
2 teams of vocalists, 5 rounds — and you choose the winner!
The first global battle: Scotland vs. Ireland
Dire Straits vs U2
Annie Lennox vs The Cranberries
Garbage vs Sinéad O’Connor
Nazareth vs Ronan Keating
Calvin Harris vs Hozier
This promises to be an epic clash of cultures through musical masterpieces.
Professional performers recreate the hits of stars from two competing countries — in the genre, style, and spirit true to the originals.
Why is it important? In a world where voices are increasingly raised not for dialogue but for confrontation, “Music Battle of Nations” emphasizes that countries should compete only in peaceful, creative ways.
This is a peaceful battle.
This is a shared language.
This is music as a bridge.
