Carmen. A New Story – for the first time in Ukraine, a dance-theatrical show based on ballroom dance.

This is a story of freedom, passion, and the power of a woman, combining ballroom dance, theatre, and show. The premiere is presented by Step Way Showballet and has the potential to become the most groundbreaking Ukrainian show in Europe.
This is not a classical opera or a theatrical drama – it is an explosion of emotions, music, dance, and light. The audience will see 16 dancers, 20 performances, and a living story about passion, choice, and freedom – all in the format of a modern ballroom show.
She is Carmen. Beautiful, free, strong. She is loved because she cannot not be loved. She is feared because she cannot be subdued. This is the story of a woman who chooses herself – even if the whole world is against her. The performance reveals the familiar legend in a new light, and through dance and movement raises themes of freedom, female strength, jealousy, and the thin line between love and control.
This is the first ballroom show in Ukraine created in the format of a theatrical performance. It is a deep storyline and spectacular execution, a premiere brought to life by a team of dance and theatre professionals, and the unique atmosphere of Caribbean Club to experience the show to the fullest.
