14 October, there is a concert by the famous Ukrainian jazz pianist and media composer Fima Chupakhin with his debut album “Water” at Caribbean Club Concert Hall.
The album “Water” officially will be released on all streaming platforms in early October. It was recorded in New York this spring with talented young musicians of modern jazz, like Jonathan Barber (drums), Josh Evans (trumpet), Vuyo Sotashe (vocals), James Robbins (bass), Yoav Eshed (guitar) and Sergey Avanesov (saxophone).
The famous American journalist Ted Panken (JazzTimes, Down Beat) described this album as: “A shrewd, melodic work in which Chupakhin guides the musicians, endowing the music with his harmonious identity, but giving enough space for New York musicians to move. His piano solos are sensitive, masterful, convincing, and never rude or aggressive. “
The concert will be attended by a musical partner and a close Fima’s friend – the famous trumpet player Dmitry Bondarev.
Don’t miss the incredible performance by a quintet of professional outstanding musicians at Caribbean Club on the 14th of October!
