We are going to tell you about Ukrainian musicians, without whom the Latin American jazz and salsa would not exist in our country at all!
In 2004, Ilya Yeresko (Ukraine), a famous piano player, composer and a jazz musician, together with Karolina Patocki (USA), a lead vocalist, formed a salsa band DISLOCADOS. The band consists of professional musicians, that have tight connection with this kind of music and culture. Thanks to their strong ambitious ideas and efforts the band became famous not only in Ukraine, but also abroad within a short period of time. The band has recorded 3 studio albums.
DISLOCADOS has toured in more than 20 countries all over the world (from the European Union to Morocco), and performed at 1,500 concerts on the territory of Ukraine. The band participated in Independent Music Awards, a well-known international music contest and received following awards:

DISLOCADOS is the only Ukrainian band, that plays professional salsa music in our country. The band musicians gained their music achievements and a great success in other music styles owing to their career in DISLOCADOS. No doubt they have a lot to tell about their passion for Latin American music and its culture.
During this concert each band member will tell his own story, using the magnificent language of music, expressing the inner feelings of a real Ukrainian salsa idol, who keeps creating a unique music empowered by an original Ukrainian soul!
