“Jazz RING” With Dennis ADU

Jazz ring: Karina Mughir vs Valeriya Kucherenko

Jazz battles in the Caribbean Club Concert Hall continue. Who said that only musicians-instrumentalists can measure by forces? 16 October in jazz battle you will see young professional jazz vocalist who has already loudly expressed themselves!

The referee is well-known Ukrainian trumpeter and bandleader Dennis Adu. The jury is still the same – as a tradition, the listeners will define the best singer.

In the first action, girls will perform the best jazz songs by turns, demonstrating their vocal skills.

In the right corner of jazz ring – Karina Mughir, the singer, filling each song with depth sense of each song. She is a backing vocalist for The Maneken, participant and bandleader of many Ukrainian Jazz projects.

In the left corner of jazz ring is a graduate of Kherson music specialized school – Valeria Kucherenko. Her vocal is really sensual and sophisticated, that has graced many jazz bands. Participant of the band “project Crocodile” and “ChaCha Band” cover band.

Both girls have graduated from the Glière Music College (Jazz vocals) in Kiev. They both are still just starting their jazz way. Whose vocals will win? You will know it on 16 October!

The second action is the unpredictable jam session with participants of the battle and stage band. Traditionally, as a stage band on “Jazz ring” are giants of the Ukrainian Jazz – Dennis Adu Quintet.

According to tradition, you can enjoy music sitting really close to jazzmen! It means there’re no scenes and no limits! Everything for the convenience of the strict judges – visitors.
